Fun Things To Do This Weekend

Posted on December 14, 2018 by Kirsten Hamling.

Christmas is right around the corner and if you’re looking for some fun things to do this weekend (Dec. 14-16), we have some great recommendations for you.

TubaChristmas returns with 300 tuba players entertaining the crowd at the Denver Performing Arts Complex.  Also, John Legend is in town and beer lovers won’t want to miss the Denver Beer Festivus, an unofficial city-wide craft-beer themed holiday party.  How can you not say “no” to that…..right?

If you’re looking for something different in the Food & Drink department, then take a look at the list below.

2nd Annual Gingerbread Invitational (Sat. Dec. 15)

12 Bars of Charity (Sat. Dec. 15)

3rd Annual 80’s Ski Party (Sat. Dec. 15)

Urban Brunch

Yultide Teas (last chance on Sunday, Dec. 16)

Shop Small, Sip Big

The magic of the holiday season continues through December with Mile High Holidays, Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo, Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Gardens, more theater performances and an abundance of New Year’s Eve events, including the two-show downtown fireworks extravaganza.  Denver continues to celebrate all the way through the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo, which lasts until the third week of January.

We wish you the best and hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!
