Denver’s Best Place To Work Out
If you have been looking for a new place to get a good workout in, look no further than Red Rocks Amphitheatre. You may be in the know, or you may think people only go there for concerts or movies. But for a good few years now, if you show up on a Saturday/Sunday morning you will get pumped full of motivation real fast. From bootcampers, to cross fitters, to youth sports teams there is no shortage of motivation waiting here.
Now I have come here a good few times, but every time I come back I get new ideas from other people’s workouts. And inspiration? Well the chizzled bodies of the guys and gals working out should inspire you. But fear not, even those who are just getting started can melt into the crowds here and if nothing more, get a high five! The air is positive, the mood is amped, the blood is flowing, and on a early weekend morning you will see hundreds of fellow Coloradoans sweating with you.
You can run the trails outside the Amphitheatre, climb stairs, jump squat, frog jump, lunge, box jump, plank, push up, or your own thing. The park opens an hour before sunrise and on show days is open until about 2P for these activities. On this particular day, they were setting up for a concert, but we didn’t need much more than an hour to exhaust ourselves before heading off to breakfast. Hope to see you there! Ray @MtgMaestro
